If you guys have any suggestion/Question, reply to this topic and I'll try to answer it. Well, hope you guys enjoyed the team, and give it a go, it's a very solid and easy to use team :) ! Make sure you play this Pokémon correctly, because if you will, you will serve the BBC to a lot of people. But it's still pretty good.īe careful while playing D-nite and make sure that your Multiscale is Intact, because that allows you to take half of the normal damage you would take on your first hit.ĭragon Dance/ Scarfed Salamence would also be a good choice for this spot, but Dragonite has access to Extreme Speed (priority) which makes a lot of difference. This our final element, I was looking at the rest of the team, and I was thinking :"What does this team need?" and I realized that this team was missing a late game "Set-up" Sweeper, and a Flying type, so I decided to go with Dragonite, because I've never used him before in competitive battling, and I got to admit, it isn't that good. What makes Slowbro even more awesome in this team is the fact that you have intimidate on Mega-Manectric, and that makes Slowbro take super effective physical hits (such has knock off, u-turn and horn leech) without taking a huge amount of damage.īe careful with special atackers like Hydreigon, Greninja or Gengar because Slowbro doesn't take special hits that well (because it has defensive investment). Slowbro is also very good because it gets access to the ability "Regenerator" and this ability makes you recover 33% of your health every time you switch out. Also wondering if Gyarados would be more beneficial here as my offense looks a little fragile and replacing Starmie with Gyarados would add a little bulk to the team.Slowbro is just a boss, people underestimate his bulk, but he can tare teams apart, this our designated physical wall, and it takes care of most of the dragons in the tier (Salamence, Garchomp, Dragonite) as well as big threats like Keldeo, Talonflame, Excadrill, Gyarados, Medicham and Landorus. Just not sure about whether or not to add the rest into its HP or defense stats or just dump it all into speed. Going to max out special attack for sure as well as add some more speed. Not too sure about what EV setup to run here. Wondering weather or not having Psychic on as another STAB would help, as it would make my coverage even wider. Also works great as a revenge killer with its good speed and special attack. This is a hyper offensive team in the SS OU metagame. Recover is pretty self explanatory, used for recovering some health lost from Life Orb and any damage taken from other mons. Ice Beam helps control those pesky grass types that might come my way and Thunder bolt helps cover other water types. Hydro Pump works as a great STAB with its massive damage. Let me know what you guys think and what moves would be good. Don't know if I should include thunder wave to help Ferrothorn out (as he already has thunder wave in his moveset). I just posted some of his moves that caught my I, hopefully you guys could give me some advice on what to use. Dragon Tail is on his moveset for sure to force switch ins. Don t think I need to boost his SAtk, it seems good enough. Also put some EVs into speed so he could actually do some attacking. I decided to boost up his defenses with EVs to make him a little bulkier and give him timid nature to boost his speed (Dragon tail is just to force in switch ins, not really to do damage). He has pretty good resistances to what seem to be some common types. The plan is to send in Mienshao to scout and gain some momentum, then set some traps with Ferrothorn and then have this guy come in and start attacking and have my sweepers come in later and clean things up. His main job will be to force switch ins and start attacking. With some thought I came up with Hydreigon. Alright so I figured that with all the traps I'm devoting to Ferrothorn setting up, I should have someone that can force switch ins.
